Tip #1 (for hairstylist)

What tip would you give to a hairstylist?

I believe it is important to invest in your education in order to #blossom in any career.  It doesn’t have to be big or cost you a ton of money.  Use the internet to your advantage.  I would sit for hours (still do) and watch video after video on anything I wanted to learn.  I go to classes, shows, and watch webinars as well.  Remember “Where focus goes, energy flows.” Tony Robbins

Tip #2 (for everyone)

What tip do you have for all of those curly girls out there?

Always invest in your hair products especially shampoo and conditioner; that’s your foundation.  With a strong foundation, you can expect an amazing wash and go.  Let your hair #blossom!

Tip #1 (for hairstylist)

When looking for makeup artist collaboration opportunities, what should hairstylists consider?

As a hairstylist is looking for a makeup artist to collaborate with, I would suggest looking at the makeup artists portfolio or Instagram page to identify if your styles of work mesh. After matching up your vibes, I would suggest asking the makeup artist for a price list so you both can make sure your client base is around the same target market. These two simple steps go a long way!

Tip #2 (for everyone)

What tip do you have for those looking to find the perfect foundation color?

My make up tip for the everyday diva would be to match your foundation to your Jawline when you are out looking for a color match! When I’m out in makeup or beauty supply stores I always see ladies searching for a color match by putting a blot of make up on the back of the hand. Skin tones tend to be a little different on different body parts so I would highly suggest testing a small amount of foundation on the jawline as you will be wearing your make up on your face and neck!
